Crystals work through resonance and energy vibrations, it is said that crystals have a type of memory due to their chemical structure. They emit a subtle energy and can be used in lots of different ways. Many people like to simply carry them on their person or just have them near. They are widely used in meditation and in healing. Crystals are particularly useful for children as they work very gently. They can be beneficial on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Some crystals need cleansing and this can be carried out in a variety of ways

  • By washing them in clear running water and allowing them to dry naturally near sun or moon light.

  • By smudging them using incense, particularly sage smudge sticks.

  • By placing them on an amethyst or quartz bed, which cleanses and re-energises.
